With our Thermal Tank at the heart of your domestic hot water solution, we can “charge the thermal battery” with energy from various sources.

To drive cost efficiencies, we encourage our clients to consider creative energy capture solutions: [1] solar energy capture uses the abundantly available energy of the sun, [2] ambient energy solutions via heat pumps capture the heat available in the environment, even at colder temperatures, and [3] waste energy (re)capture ensures that energy you already paid for is put to use again before being discharged.

We will optimize the combination of these energy sources for our client’s individual needs and can pair them with existing system components.

Ambient Energy Capture - Heat Pump

Heat pumps can reliably extract energy from the environment. They require a certain amount of electrical energy to operate, but turn each unit of energy input into multiple units of thermal energy output.  That relationship is called the COP (Coefficient of Power).
